We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative with Transport Coordination experience to join a growing logistics company based in West Thurrock.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual with experience within transport or logistics environments. You will act as the key point of contact for customers while coordinating transport activities to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Provide updates on deliveries, collections, and transport schedules.
- Coordinate daily transport operations and liaise with drivers.
- Monitor vehicle movements and delivery performance.
- Book deliveries and collections in line with customer requirements.
- Resolve customer queries and transport-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
- Work closely with warehouse, transport, and planning teams.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Customer Service or Customer Support role within a transport, logistics, freight, or distribution environment.
- Experience coordinating transport, deliveries, or collections.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of transport management systems would be advantageous.
