How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are currently recruiting for a Technical Print Operator to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Swindon on a 12-month contract.

    This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in digital printing, machine operation, pharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP environments, or production operations who are looking to develop their technical skills within a highly regulated industry.



    The Role

    You will support the day-to-day operation of digital printing and manufacturing equipment, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and GMP requirements are consistently met.


    Key responsibilities include

    • Operating and monitoring production and print equipment
    • Completing batch records and production documentation accurately
    • Performing in-process quality checks and inspections
    • Supporting machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting activities
    • Monitoring materials and consumables during production
    • Maintaining GMP standards and following SOPs at all times
    • Ensuring work areas remain clean, organised, and audit-ready
    • Reporting deviations, quality concerns, or equipment issues promptly
    • Supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiative



    About You

    We are looking for candidates who have

    • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, pharmaceutical, packaging, or printing environment
    • Knowledge of GMP and regulated working practices
    • Experience operating production machinery or technical equipment
    • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
    • Good documentation and record-keeping skills
    • The ability to follow SOPs and work instructions accurately
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills



    Desirable Experience

    • Digital print operation experience
    • Roll-to-roll digital printing experience
    • Pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing experience
    • Packaging or label printing experience
    • Machine setup, changeovers, and fault-finding



    Working Environment

    • Manufacturing-based role (not warehouse work)
    • High-paced, regulated production environment
    • Exposure to industrial machinery and manufacturing processes
    • Day shifts
