How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Description

    This can be a full-time or part-time, on-site Rib Layer / Production Operative role based at TR Lawman Ltd. In Rushden. The role involves preparing and ribbing insole materials for footwear, following production specifications and work instructions. Daily tasks include operating and monitoring machinery, handling materials safely, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Production Operative will inspect work for quality, report any defects or issues, and support efficient workflow to meet high standards of quality and production targets. The role may also involve assisting with other production duties, and Working efficiently as part of the production team.


    Skills & Experience

    • Previous experience in footwear manufacturing or a similar production environment is desirable but not essential.
    • Ability to work accurately and consistently.
    • Strong Communication skills to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to Quality Control, including checking materials and finished work against standards.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
    • Willingness to participate in and provide training, including learning new procedures and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
    • Ability to follow health and safety procedures, work on your feet, work sitting for long periods of time and handle manual tasks safely.
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work full time on-site.
