Head of Property – London Family Office
A privately owned London family office is seeking to appoint a Head of Property to lead the management, performance and strategic direction of a diverse real estate portfolio in London. The portfolio comprises a range of commercial, residential and mixed-use assets, with a focus on long-term ownership, active asset management and value preservation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, the Head of Property will take responsibility for the full lifecycle of the portfolio, including asset strategy, property management, tenant engagement, budgeting, facilities management, capital expenditure, risk management and external advisor coordination.
- To provide clear, commercial advice while maintaining the discretion, judgement and hands-on approach required within a private ownership environment.
- Developing and implementing asset plans, identifying opportunities to enhance income and capital value, overseeing property management performance, managing professional teams, supporting acquisitions and disposals where appropriate, and ensuring all assets are operated in line with statutory, ESG, health & safety and compliance requirements.
The role requires an experienced property professional with a strong background in property management, estate management or investment-led property ownership. Experience working with private clients, family offices, landed estates or entrepreneurial property companies would be highly advantageous. Candidates should bring strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate both strategically and practically.
