How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are seeking an experienced insurance documentation professional to play a critical role in supporting our UK business. This position will be responsible for the development and oversight of key insurance documentation, including Delegated Authority Agreements, reinsurance contracts, policy wordings, and associated regulatory documentation.

Working closely with underwriting, claims, legal, compliance, brokers, MGAs, reinsurers, and TPAs, you will ensure that all documentation is commercially effective, legally robust, and aligned with the Company's strategic objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Draft, review, and approve policy forms, wordings, clauses, endorsements, policy summaries, IPIDs, ICOBs, and related documentation.
    • Ensure policy documentation is clear, fit for purpose, customer-focused, and compliant with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead the drafting and negotiation of Delegated Authority Agreements with MGAs, ensuring alignment with business, legal, and regulatory standards.
    • Review and manage outwards reinsurance documentation, ensuring consistency between inwards and outwards contracts and eliminating gaps in coverage or conditions.
    • Review TOBAs and other sub-delegation agreements between MGAs, brokers, and the Company.
    • Partner with underwriting, claims, legal, compliance, and operational teams to support new business initiatives and renewal activity.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including brokers, reinsurers, MGAs, and TPAs.
    • Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise on insurance documentation, wordings, market practice, and regulatory developments.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Minimum 10 years' experience within Lloyd's, the London Market, or the UK insurance company market.
    • Proven expertise in Property & Casualty insurance documentation across both commercial and consumer products.
    • Extensive experience drafting and reviewing Delegated Authority Agreements and reinsurance wordings.
    • Strong technical understanding of insurance law, regulation, and market practice.
    • Legal qualification, insurance qualification, or equivalent technical accreditation preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex documentation and stakeholder environments.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Collaborative approach with the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
    • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills.
    • Commercially aware with sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities.

    Why Join Us?

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced insurance professional to take ownership of critical documentation and governance activities within a dynamic and growing business. You will play a key role in shaping policy and contractual frameworks, supporting strategic growth, and ensuring best-in-class standards across the insurance lifecycle.
