How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Quality Control & Facilities Officer

    Location: Barwell, UK

    Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00

The company has opportunities for a Quality Control & Facilities Officer in Barwell.


    Job Purpose


    The Quality Control & Facilities Officer is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's high-quality standards and customer specifications. Working closely with production, compliance, and customer service teams, you will monitor, inspect, and report on quality issues, manage customer quality complaints, and support continuous improvement across operations. To ensure that the site is supported through regular scheduled auditing, facilitation of operational support.


    Key Skills & Competencies

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication and reporting skills
    • Proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
    • Ability to work independently and within a team
    • Can prioritise work load
    • Good IT skills (e.g., Excel, quality tracking systems)
    • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, BRC, etc.) desirable but not essential

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, ideally within print, packaging, or labelling industries – desirable not essential
    • Experience handling and investigating quality complaints is essential
    • Understanding of print processes and label production is highly desirable
    • Familiarity with inspection tools, sampling techniques, complaint investigation, and quality documentation
    • Training in internal auditing or quality systems (desirable but not essential)
