How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About Us

Care Success Services Limited (CSSL) is a specialist care provider based in Manchester. Our Day Centre delivers a safe, structured and creative environment for adults with autism, learning disabilities, complex needs and significant communication difficulties. We work closely with families, carers and the City Council to provide individualised programmes that inspire independence, creativity and meaningful daily living.

    The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Day Centre Coordinator to take a lead role in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of our Day Centre provision. This is a rewarding full-time position offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with Special Educational Needs, learning disabilities and autism.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Coordinating the daily running of the Day Centre, ensuring a structured, safe and person-centred environment

    * Planning, preparing and delivering activities that promote life skills, independence, social development and wellbeing

    * Adapting programmes to meet a range of needs including autism, learning disabilities, communication needs and sensory or physical impairments

    * Supporting clients to achieve individual outcomes as identified in their care and support plans

    * Collaborating with families, carers, social workers, therapists and other professionals

    * Maintaining accurate records, progress notes and reports

    * Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing using person-centred approaches

    * Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and organisational policies are upheld at all times

    * Providing guidance and support to support workers and volunteers

    * Supporting EHCP review processes and contributing to the setting of future goals and targets

    * Deputising for the Day Centre Manager as required

    What We're Looking For

    Essential:

    * Minimum 2 years' experience working with individuals with SEN, in a primary or secondary school setting

    * Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent

    * Proven ability to plan and deliver structured activity or learning programmes

    * Experience responding to behaviour that challenges, with a proactive and planned approach

    * Strong understanding of inclusive and person-centred practice

    * Excellent communication skills — with adults with SEN, families and multi-disciplinary professionals

    * Good numeracy and literacy skills (equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in English and Maths)

    * Strong organisational and leadership skills

    Desirable:

    * Experience in an adult day centre, supported living or social care setting

    * Knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Equality Act 2010 and Health and Social Care Act 2008

    * Training in autism, positive behaviour support or learning disability care

    Contract Details

    * Full time — 35 hours per week

    * Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 4:30pm

    * Salary benefits: Free parking, company pension

    Why Join Us?

At CSSL, we are committed to providing care that is authentic, dignified and genuinely person-centred. You will join a close-knit, dedicated team that values every individual (staff and service users alike) and is passionate about enabling people to live fulfilling, independent lives.
