The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a diligent, detail-orientated Finance Assistant to join our award-winning marketing agency. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be the first hire in a growing finance department, supporting a developing reporting process to assist in high quality financial insights.
Your Role:
You will take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping duties via our Xero software, including but not limited to:
- Take charge of the processing of financial documents such as sales invoices, purchase invoices and bank statements
- Take charge of reconciling accounts transactions such as receipts, payments and credit card transactions
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate, up-to-date financial records electronically
- Assisting the FM with the production of high quality financial reports, including monthly management accounts and department spending analysis
- Other adhoc duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an accounts role in either practice or industry
- Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Excel, Xero, Dext
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality due to exposure to sensitive information
- Eagerness to learn and grow as part of a highly motivated team
