How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Stage 2 Teacher
    Location: Barnet, North London
    Salary: £41,935 - £56,154 (M3-M6)
    Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
    Start Date: September 2026
    Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience.

    Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher looking to join a welcoming and high-performing primary school in North London? We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive school community in Barnet from September 2026.

    This Key Stage 2 Teacher role offers the opportunity to work with enthusiastic learners in a supportive environment where pupil achievement, wellbeing and staff development are at the heart of everything the school does. The successful Key Stage 2 Teacher will take full responsibility for a KS2 class and play an important role in the continued success of the school.

    The Role

    As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:

    • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
    • Assess, monitor and support pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.
    • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
    • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
    • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and collaborative planning.
    • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.

    Requirements

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
    • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
    • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment framework.
    • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
    • Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities.
    • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
