The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and ensuring food products are manufactured safely and efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor specialist computer-controlled production equipment.
* Manufacture food products in line with production, quality, and hygiene standards.
* Prepare packaging, labels, and coding to specification.
* Store, mix, blend, and package products following GMP procedures.
* Carry out product inspection, packing, and metal detection checks.
* Palletise, wrap, and label finished goods.
* Complete production and food safety documentation accurately.
* Carry out cleaning schedules and maintain high housekeeping standards.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, food safety, and quality procedures.
* Support other departments as required.
Experience
* Previous experience within a manufacturing, food production, pharmaceutical, or chemical environment.
* Experience operating and monitoring automated production equipment.
* Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, or similar production systems would be advantageous.
* Previous manual handling experience.
Skills & Qualifications
* Confident using computer-based production systems.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* FLT Counterbalance or Bendi licence advantageous but not essential.
Hours
* 43 hours per week.
* Monday to Thursday: 7:15am – 5:15pm.
* Friday: 7:15am – 3:15pm.
Salary
* Up to £35,100 per annum.
