How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Construction Management Lecturer (Full Training Provided)

    Northamptonshire

    £36,000 - £45,000 + Fully Funded Teacher Training + Teachers' Pension + 44 Days Holiday + Excellent Benefits

Are you a Civil Engineer or Construction professional looking for a rewarding career change?

Do you want a role that offers autonomy, variety, brilliant benefits, and the chance to genuinely shape the next generation of tradespeople?

Join a highly regarded College with a strong reputation for technical education and industry-focused training. Working within a supportive and experienced team, you'll play a key role in developing future construction professionals while benefiting from ongoing training, development opportunities, and clear progression pathways.

As an Electrical Lecturer, you'll teach and support learners across a range of full-time, part-time, and short Electrical courses. You'll deliver engaging practical and theory sessions, assess student work, provide pastoral support, and help learners develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed within the industry.

In this role you will teach and deliver across subjects including Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Regulations, Health & Safety, and Sustainability - to learners working towards their BTEC, T Level and HNC qualifications. You'll guide, assess and mentor students, manage your own timetable, and play an active part in shaping curriculum and course development.

The college will fully fund your Level 5 teaching qualification, so no prior teaching experience is required - just the industry knowledge and the passion to pass it on.

    The role:

*Teaching Construction & Civil Engineering from Level 2 to HNC
*Mentoring and supporting learners through their qualifications
*Helping develop new courses and curriculum content
*Full teacher training (Level 5) funded by the college

    The Person:

*Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
*Minimum 3 years' industry experience in construction
*Able to teach or assess at HNC/BTEC level (or keen to develop this)
*Motivated to inspire and develop the next generation
*Lives within a commutable distance of Northampton

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
