How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Installation Assessor (Full Training Provided)

    As an Electrical Installation Assessor, you'll support apprentices throughout their learning journey, carrying out workplace assessments, conducting progress reviews, and providing coaching and guidance to help learners successfully achieve their qualifications. You'll work closely with both apprentices and employers, ensuring learners remain engaged, motivated, and on track to complete their apprenticeship.

    The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electrical Installation professional with strong industry knowledge and a passion for developing others. You should hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation and have recent industry experience. Previous assessing experience is desirable but not essential, as full assessor training and qualifications can be provided. You'll be a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with apprentices and employers while supporting learners to achieve their full potential.

    The role:

    Assess Electrical Installation apprentices in the workplace.
    Conduct learner progress reviews and provide developmental feedback.
    Support apprentices in gathering evidence towards their qualifications.
    Work closely with employers to monitor apprentice progress and achievement.
    Ensure learners remain on track to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
    Maintain accurate learner records and assessment documentation.
    Fully funded assessor qualification provided.

    The person:

    Experience within the Electrical Installation industry.
    Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
    Strong communication and organisational skills.
