You'll be joining an established commercial function supporting a portfolio of infrastructure projects, with responsibility for commercial management across multiple schemes at various stages of delivery.
The Role
You'll be involved in:
Managing the commercial performance of multiple infrastructure projects
Administering NEC contracts and supporting project delivery teams
Preparing valuations, forecasts and cost reports
Managing subcontractor accounts and payment applications
Monitoring project costs, risks and commercial performance
Supporting change management and compensation event processes
Working closely with project managers, engineers and client stakeholders
Assisting with monthly reporting and commercial reviewsThe role will involve supporting a portfolio of projects valued up to £1m, with multiple schemes running concurrently.
What They're Looking For
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure or utilities sectors
Strong understanding of NEC contracts
Experience managing project costs and commercial reporting
Good commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and negotiation skillsExperience with:
NEC Option A
NEC Option C
NEC Option Ewould be highly beneficial.
Water sector experience is preferred but not essential, and candidates from other infrastructure or civil engineering backgrounds will be considered.
