We are currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to join a growing business based in North Lincolnshire.
This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transport experience to step into a position where they can make a real impact. The business is continuing to grow and is looking for someone confident, organised and hands-on who can support the smooth running of daily transport operations.
As Transport Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day transport activity, supporting drivers, managing planning requirements and ensuring the operation runs efficiently, safely and compliantly.
The Role:
Reporting into the senior management team, you will be responsible for:
Managing day-to-day transport operations
Daily transport planning and route scheduling
Coordinating drivers and ensuring workloads are organised effectively
Supporting fleet compliance and transport legislation requirements
Monitoring delivery schedules and resolving operational issues
Liaising with internal teams, customers and drivers
Supporting performance, service levels and operational efficiency
Supervising and supporting the transport team
Helping to improve processes as the business continues to grow
The Candidate:
We are looking for someone with experience in a busy transport, logistics or distribution environment.
You will ideally have experience across:
Transport planning
Driver coordination
Fleet / vehicle compliance
Route planning and scheduling
Managing daily operational issues
Supervising or supporting a transport team
Working in a fast-paced transport office
A CPC qualification would be advantageous, however strong transport operations experience will also be considered.
You will be confident, proactive and able to make decisions in a busy environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and keeping transport operations running smoothly.

Salary between £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
