How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate Opportunity - SEN School

    Are you a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), mental health and child development? Are you considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Counselling, Therapy, Social Worker, Speech and Language Therapy or Teaching?

    A supportive SEN School in Oxford is seeking a dedicated Graduate to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and associated mental health needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to develop valuable experience supporting children with additional learning needs and disabilities.

    As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, communication, sensory regulation, and emotional well being for children who require high levels of personalised support. You will work alongside teachers and SEN professionals and gain practical experience adapting learning strategies, supporting behaviour, and utilising therapeutic strategies.

    The school are seeking a dedicated and hard-working graduate (ideally 2:2 and above). Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential. You must have a genuine passion for supporting young people.
