We are currently recruiting for an experienced Design Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major rail infrastructure project based in Bristol.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a high profile scheme, working closely with project teams, stakeholders and design partners to ensure successful project delivery from concept through to construction.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Design Manager within the rail sector
Previous experience delivering Network Rail projects
Experience working on Listed Buildings and heritage assets
Strong understanding of design management processes and project governance
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage stakeholder interfaces
Eligible to work in the UK
Able to commute to Bristol on a regular basisResponsibilities
Manage and coordinate the design process throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure designs are delivered to programme, budget and quality requirements
Liaise with Network Rail, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
Review and manage design deliverables and technical submissions
Identify and mitigate design related risks and opportunities
Support project teams during construction and delivery phasesWhat's on Offer
