We’re recruiting for an experienced Data Scientist to join a high-impact public sector project based in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to work on data-driven initiatives that support critical services and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deploy machine learning and AI models to solve complex business problems
Analyse large datasets to generate actionable insights
Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
Build and maintain data pipelines and predictive models
Present findings clearly to support strategic decisionsKey Requirements
Proven experience working as a Data Scientist within the public sector
Strong expertise in AI and machine learning techniques
Proficiency in Python/R and relevant data science libraries
Experience with data manipulation, modelling, and visualisation
Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into insightsDesirable
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
Knowledge of data governance and compliance in public sector environments
