A leading provider of industrial measurement and automation solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to manage and develop a designated UK territory - we have requirement in the Midlands & South West initially.
This field-based role combines account management, business development and technical solution selling. You will be responsible for growing existing customer relationships, winning new business and delivering tailored technical solutions across a broad range of industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets
Manage and expand existing customer accounts
Generate new business through prospecting and networking
Conduct regular customer visits and provide solution-based technical sales support
Prepare quotations, proposals and sales forecasts
Maintain CRM records and pipeline activity
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Collaborate with engineering, marketing and customer support teams
Requirements
Proven experience in external B2B sales, ideally in a technical field
Strong knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, process control or related technologies
Ability to understand customer applications and provide technical solutions
Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, organised and target-driven
Full UK driving licence
