Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of new claims from initial phone call through to successful set-up, ensuring all information is processed accurately and efficiently
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing guidance and reassurance throughout
* Gather and verify all relevant claim information throughout the process
* Keep customers informed throughout the claims processes, informing them of next steps and any additional requirements
* Deliver an exceptional level of customer service across all touchpoints, consistently meeting service standards and ensuring positive customer outcomes
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure claims are set up and progressed as they should be
Customer Service Advisor Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a customer service or claims handling role is essential
* Experience within insurance or claims handling would be advantageous but is not essential
* A customer-first approach, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding services and creating positive customer experiences
* Proactive, positive, and empathetic, able to remain calm when dealing with customers
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, professional guidance over the phone
* Superb IT skills, comfortable using databases and CRM systems
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately capture and record information
* A driving licence and car is essential for this role
