How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    You must have FLT experience to be considered for this role

    We are looking for a number of FLT drivers to start immediately.
    Various hours / shifts available

    Responsibilities

    * Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse management system (WMS) equipment to load and unload goods

    * Handle materials with care, ensuring safe and accurate transportation within the warehouse

    * Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments

    * Conduct mechanical checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance

    * Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety regulations

    * Organise materials for storage or dispatch, maintaining accurate records of inventory movements

    * Support construction or maintenance activities as required within the warehouse premises

    * Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards

    Skills

    * Proven experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)

    * Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety protocols

    * Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment

    * Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload operations

    * Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and long periods of standing or moving around the warehouse

    * Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management

    * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
