How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Early Years Preschool Manager
    Location: Oldbury, B68
    Salary: UQTS Level 6 (dependent on experience)
    Hours: 32.5 hours per week (plus staff meetings and directed time)
    Start Date: 01/09/2026
    Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Term Time Only

    Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready to lead a thriving pre-school provision? We are seeking a passionate and innovative Early Years Preschool Manager to lead an expanding EYFS setting attached to a Primary School in Oldbury, creating outstanding learning experiences that prepare children for a successful start to school.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the pre-school provision.
    Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
    Create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments.
    Support children's development, progress and school readiness.
    Lead staff, manage ratios and ensure compliance with the EYFS Statutory Framework.
    Build strong partnerships with families, the parish and wider community.
    Support children with SEND, EHCPs and additional learning needs.What We're Looking For:

    Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Studies (or equivalent).
    QTS, EYTS or EYPS qualification.
    Proven experience leading within an EYFS setting.
    Strong knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework.
