Pay Rate: £16.45 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week
Working Schedule:
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
* Early finish every Friday!
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team based in Appleton Thorn. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a well-established business, working on a fixed day shift with an early finish every Friday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out production MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring all work meets quality and productivity requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing production MIG welding on a variety of metal components
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings where required
* Ensuring welds meet quality specifications and standards
* Carrying out visual inspections of completed work
* Working to production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
* Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
* Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements
* Previous MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or production environment
* Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
* Good attention to detail and quality standards
* Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Due to the location of the site, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive
* A weld test will be required as part of the recruitment process
