How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Installations Trainer / Assessor (Full Training Provided)

    Witney, Oxfordshire

    £38,000 - £41,500 + Full Training on Renewables + Teaching Qualifications + Assessor Qualifications + Pension + 36 Days Holiday + Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm)

    As demand for renewable technologies continues to grow, the organisation is investing heavily in areas such as Solar PV, EV Charging, Battery Storage, Inspection & Testing and associated electrical technologies. This creates an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to gain new skills while remaining connected to the industry.

    In this role, you will deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices while also supporting the delivery of short courses in specialist areas. You will help learners develop both their practical skills and technical understanding, carry out assessments, and support them through their qualifications and apprenticeships.

    The ideal candidate will come directly from industry and hold a full NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. Previous teaching experience is not required as full teacher training, assessor qualifications and renewable technology training will be provided.

    The Role
    *Deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices
    *Support learners through qualifications and apprenticeship programmes
    *Deliver training across Electrical Installation and specialist short courses
    *Gain training in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Inspection & Testing
    *Carry out learner assessments and progress reviews
    *Full teaching and assessor training provided
    *Monday to Friday position based in Witney

    The Person
    *NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
    *Strong Electrical Installation industry experience
    *Experience as an Electrician, Approved Electrician or Electrical Supervisor
    *Interest in renewable technologies
    *Strong communication and people skills
    *Looking to move into training and education
    *No previous teaching experience required
