How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Field Service Engineer

    £30,000 - £35,000 + Door to Door + Van + Training + Excellent Benefits

    Home Based: Commutable from Hertfordshire

    Are you a Field Service Engineer with Electrical and Mechanical experience looking to join an industry leading company that offers full on the job training, long term progression whilst working within
    a local patch?

    On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company, who are renowned for developing their staff in the long term alongside guaranteed overtime to boost your earnings.

    The company are renowned within the Vending and Refreshments industry, and as a result of continued year on year growth, are now looking for someone to join their specialist team of Service Engineers.

    In this Monday to Friday role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault finding a range of bespoke electromechanical equipment operating in a local patch.

    This role would suit an Engineer with Electrical and Mechanical
    experience looking for full on the job training and a desire to grow in the long term within an industry leading company.

    The Role:

    Service and Maintenance of Vending and Refreshment machines
    Field based covering a local patch
    Monday to Friday with door-to-door payThe Person

    Electrical and Mechanical Engineering experience
