The new rate of pay is £15.08 to £27.60 per hour.
This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday with weekend off, the hours of work are:
- 2pm to 10pm
- 4pm to 12am (8 hours shift)
- 6pm to 12am 6 hours shift (potential to 2am, if required)
Your own transport is required.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative at this site, you will be picking items for orders.
Using manual handling equipment within a large chilled warehouse, you'll pick a variety of fresh produce such as fresh vegetables, dairy products, and meat products including pork and desserts.
You will operate both MHE and electrical pallet trucks to stack items into roll cages. Digital wrist-mounted computers and trigger scanners will guide you in conducting these tasks.
This role involves a high level of physical activity and picking boxes or trays up to 20kg.
Other duties may include loading and unloading goods and keeping the site clean.
