A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading industrial engineering business at their site in Kings Cross. The company has recently invested heavily in the facility, installing brand-new equipment and upgrading site infrastructure. They are now looking to strengthen their engineering team to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of site operations.

Duties:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical plant and equipment
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across production machinery and site services
Maintaining motors, drives, control panels, inverters, sensors, relays, switchgear, and associated electrical systems
Conducting routine inspections, testing, and servicing to ensure maximum equipment reliability and performance
Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency
Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projects
Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems
Supporting root cause analysis investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Accurately completing maintenance records and reporting any recurring electrical issuesRequirements:
Apprentice trained or electrically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
Previous experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within an industrial, manufacturing, production, or engineering environment
Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills
Experience working with motors, drives, control systems, PLCs, sensors, and industrial electrical equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, develop, and progressPackage:
