Client Lifecycle Specialist – Wealth Management
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Client Lifecycle Specialist to join a growing Wealth Management business. This is an excellent opportunity for a client onboarding and data management professional with strong regulatory knowledge to take ownership of key client lifecycle processes while contributing to operational improvement initiatives across the firm.
In this role, you will oversee complex client onboarding activities across a diverse client base, including private clients, trusts, companies, SIPPs, and charities. Working closely with teams across Compliance, Front Office, Legal, and Technology, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining data integrity, and supporting strategic change initiatives within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for a range of client types, ensuring a seamless and compliant client experience
- Manage client static data across core systems, maintaining accuracy throughout the client lifecycle to support operational, regulatory, and reporting requirements
- Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, MiFID II, and US QI regulatory obligations
- Act as a subject matter expert for client onboarding and lifecycle management, providing guidance to internal stakeholders across multiple departments
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and controls, supporting digital transformation and automation initiatives
- Participate in client lifecycle, data remediation, and regulatory change projects, contributing to the successful delivery of business objectives
About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Wealth Management, Asset Management, Private Banking, or a related financial services environment
- Strong background in client onboarding, client lifecycle management, or client data operations
- Excellent knowledge of AML/KYC requirements, including experience working with complex client structures and international clients
- Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks including FATCA, CRS, MiFID II, RDR, and US QI requirements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify risks and maintain high-quality data standards
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across business functions and with external clients
- Proactive approach to problem solving, process improvement, and operational excellence
