How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Head Of Short Form Content Wanted

East London Based - Hybrid Role

    Salary: £55k-£65k

We’re looking for a Head of Short Form Content who properly understands where short form content is right now, what’s working and what’s coming next. If you’re brilliant at coming up with ideas & understand how to hold a viewer’s attention, please keep reading.

    What You’ll Actually Be Doing

    • Leading short form content across YouTube Shorts, TikTok & Reels.

    • Devising tailored strategies for each of our channels across all platforms.

    • Providing clear feedback to editors to make sure videos are captivating, structured well and designed to hold the viewer’s attention.

    • Writing & ideating strong audio and visual hooks.

    • Keeping on top of trends, formats and what’s working across social platforms.

    • Working with the wider team to make sure content is delivered consistently and on time.

The Kind of Person We’re After

    • Creative. You can come up with strong ideas, not just execute other people’s.

    • Experienced. You’ve done this type of role before, whether that’s running a large short form account, leading content for a creator/brand, or consistently making videos that have performed at a high level.

    • Organised. You can manage multiple videos, edits and deadlines without things getting messy.

    • Tasteful. You know when something feels sharp, funny, boring, too slow or over-edited.

    • Detail-focused. You notice pacing, wording, captions, sound, framing and the impact they have on viewer retention.

    • Confident giving feedback. You can explain what needs changing and why.

    • Curious. You’re always watching what’s working online and thinking about how to apply it.

This role would suit someone who lives and breathes online content, has strong creative instincts and understands the nuances between content that will work on Instagram vs YouTube vs Tik Tok.
