How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Data & Analytics Development Manager (GCP)


    Location: London (Hybrid)

    Our client is an established financial services organisation seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Development Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise data and analytics solutions based on GCP. This role offers an opportunity to combine technical expertise, people leadership, and strategic influence to drive data-led decision-making across the business.

    Role Overview

    Reporting to senior leadership within Data & Analytics, the successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing analytics initiatives that align with organisational objectives. The role requires a balance of hands-on technical capability and leadership experience, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality data solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide analytics solutions aligned to business strategy
    • Design and deliver advanced analytical models, dashboards, and reporting solutions to support decision-making
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed analytics within core business processes
    • Manage, mentor, and develop a distributed team of data specialists and engineers
    • Oversee end-to-end data pipeline development, including ETL processes and API integrations
    • Establish and maintain best practices in data modelling
    • Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and documentation
    • Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, testing frameworks, and structured development processes
    • Lead incident resolution and root cause analysis to ensure long-term stability of analytics platforms
    • Manage delivery timelines, resource allocation, and project tracking tools


    Candidate Profile


    • Proven track record delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions in complex environments
    • Strong understanding of data modelling methodologies, including dimensional and relational design
    • Strong experience with GCP, including BigQuery, Composer and Vertex AI.
    • Experience with ETL processes and enterprise data warehousing concepts
    • Advanced technical capability across tools such as SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS), Tableau, and Python
    • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g. Cloud-based analytics environments)
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead technical teams effectively
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
    • Experience within financial services or other regulated industries
    • Knowledge of industry data models, metrics, and reporting frameworks
    • Exposure to additional analytics tools such as Alteryx
