How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Reporting to the relevant compliance or operational lead, you will play a key role in ensuring that Rockland Concrete maintains the highest standards of compliance with quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental performance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities for the Compliance Coordinator Role:

    • Maintain compliance documentation, procedures, registers, and records, ensuring all information is accurate, current, and readily accessible.
    • Support the administration and maintenance of the company's compliance management systems.
    • Monitor document review dates and coordinate updates with relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of internal audits across the business.
    • Record audit findings and track corrective actions through to completion.
    • Support preparations for external audits, assessments, and accreditation reviews.
    • Assist in the reporting and investigation of incidents, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
    • Produce compliance reports and management information as required.
    • Support the continuous improvement of compliance processes and systems.

    Skills and experience required

    • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage and maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance-related information.
    • Good administrative and document control skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional, positive, and proactive approach to work.
    • Comfortable working full-time in an office-based environment (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm).
    • 1–5 years' experience in an administrative, compliance, quality, health & safety, or coordination role.
    • Basic knowledge or understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 requirements and best practices.
    • Experience maintaining policies, procedures, registers, or controlled documents.
    • Exposure to internal audits, compliance monitoring, or management systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
    • Graduate candidates with relevant qualifications and a keen interest in compliance, quality, or health & safety are encouraged to apply.
