How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Office Operations - Front of House

    12–15 Month FTC | £40,000–£45,000 | Mayfair

    We are partnering with a prestigious global finance house based in the heart of Mayfair to find an exceptional Receptionist/Office Operations to join their high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a polished, client-facing professional who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and understands the importance of delivering a true 5-star hospitality experience.

    Working from beautifully designed offices, you will be the face of the business, ensuring every client, guest, and internal stakeholder receives a seamless and professional experience from the moment they arrive.

    The Role

    This is a varied front-of-house position combining traditional reception responsibilities with elements of office management and light Executive Assistant support. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of the office while representing the business to the highest standard.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and discretion
    • Managing a busy reception desk and maintaining an immaculate front-of-house environment
    • Coordinating meeting rooms and ensuring all spaces are set up to exceptional standards
    • Organising refreshments and liaising with catering suppliers for meetings and events
    • Setting up video conferencing and supporting smooth meeting operations
    • Booking taxis, couriers, and handling visitor logistics
    • Assisting with general office management duties and supporting the wider team
    • Providing light EA support including diary coordination and ad hoc administrative assistance
    • Acting as a key point of contact for all front-of-house and office-related queries

    What We’re Looking For

    • Previous receptionist or front-of-house experience within a corporate, financial services, or professional services environment is a must ideally a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
    • A strong understanding of 5-star hospitality and exceptional client service
    • Highly polished, personable, and confident communication skills
    • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
    • Someone who enjoys being client-facing and takes pride in representing a prestigious brand
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
