How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Networks Operations Manager

    Remote - Site Travel Required

    £80,000-£90,000 + Up to 8% Bonus + Car + Healthcare + 6% Matched Pension + 26 Days Holiday!

    Are you an SAP looking to step up into a senior operations role at a well-established and growing multi-utility provider where you can make a genuine impact?

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded multi-utility provider of gas, water, electricity, district heating and LV services. Now in an exciting period of growth and expansion, they are looking to bring on board an Electrical Networks Operations Manager to take ownership of their electrical networks operations and help drive the business forward.

    In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and compliant delivery of electrical networks, managing SAPs, supporting ICPs and customers through onboarding and ongoing compliance, and acting as Designated Engineer under Distribution Safety Rules. You will also manage external service providers, undertake asset inspections, create and approve switching schedules, and provide technical support across the business. The role is largely remote with travel to sites as required and occasional visits to the Surrey office.

    The Role:

    * Electrical Networks Operations Manager
    * Acting as Designated Engineer and SAP under Distribution Safety Rules

    * Creating, issuing and approving switching schedules and managing external service providers
