How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Head of Investor Relations

London | Private Equity | Build the Function from the Ground Up

An established and ambitious private equity firm is seeking its first dedicated Head of Investor Relations to build and lead the investor function during a pivotal stage of growth.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing investment platform with an excellent track record and take ownership of fundraising, investor engagement and marketing strategy from day one. Reporting directly to the founding partners, you will play a central role in shaping how the firm is positioned to existing and prospective investors across Europe and North America.

The role will suit an entrepreneurial investor relations professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is excited by the challenge of creating infrastructure, processes and strategy from scratch.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead fundraising initiatives across Europe and the United States, developing and managing relationships with institutional investors, family offices and private wealth channels.

    • Build and establish the firm's investor relations function, processes, reporting framework and communications strategy.

    • Manage existing LP relationships, ensuring a best-in-class investor experience and ongoing engagement.

    • Coordinate and lead roadshows, annual meetings, investor events and fundraising campaigns.

    • Produce and oversee all marketing materials, presentations, quarterly reports, fund updates and due diligence documentation.

    • Work closely with the investment team to articulate investment performance, portfolio developments and market positioning.

    • Develop and maintain a robust CRM and investor pipeline, identifying new sources of capital and strategic relationships.

    • Act as a trusted adviser to the partners on fundraising strategy, market trends and investor sentiment.

    Candidate Profile

    • 10-15+ years of experience within private equity investor relations, fundraising, placement advisory or institutional business development.

    • Demonstrable track record raising capital from institutional investors across Europe and/or North America.

    • Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, fundraising processes and LP requirements.

    • Experience building processes, creating investor materials and operating in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

    • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage senior institutional investors.

    • Commercially minded, self-sufficient and excited by the opportunity to create something from the ground up.

    • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe and the United States.

    Why This Opportunity?

This is not a traditional investor relations role joining a large existing team.

It is an opportunity to become the architect of a firm's fundraising and investor engagement strategy, working directly alongside the founders and playing a key role in the next phase of growth. The successful individual will have significant visibility, influence and long-term career progression as the platform continues to scale.

For investor relations professionals looking to move beyond maintenance and into true platform-building, this represents one of the more compelling opportunities currently available in the market.
