The Role
Due to continued growth, our Technical Department is seeking a 2D CAD Design Engineer to join our Birmingham office. This is a stable, long-term position working alongside highly qualified professionals on large-scale and technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities

Analyse customer requirements and available space to design the most efficient storage solutions

Provide technical support to both the Sales team and customers
*
Produce accurate 2D technical drawings
*
Prepare costing calculations and relevant technical documentation for projects
Requirements
*
Strong CAD / 2D drawing skills (e.g. AutoCAD, DraftSight or similar)
*
Ability to analyse customer needs and develop effective design solutions using storage products
*
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*
1-2 years’ experience in a similar technical or drafting role
