How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the Client Meet Mary, a woman in her late 60s who lives in her own home in Ealing with her husband and a dedicated 24-hour care team. She sustained an Acquired Brain Injury several years ago and now requires 2:1 support with all aspects of her daily living, personal care, mobility, and health needs. Mary presents with complex needs including motor and sensory impairment, osteoporosis, limited verbal communication, and reduced cognitive capacity. She is unable to weight-bear and is fully dependent on her support team for repositioning, personal care, and mobility using a powered wheelchair and full manual handling equipment (hoist, slings, and slide sheets). She can sometimes experience periods of increased agitation and may present with behaviours that may challenge. Mary enjoys an active and meaningful lifestyle and benefits greatly from consistent, calm, and experienced support.
The Role at a Glance As Mary’s Support Worker / Night Carer, you will provide high-quality, individualised care as part of an established and growing team. You will support her with all aspects of daily living while promoting her comfort, independence, and emotional wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include full personal care with 2:1 support, moving and handling, continence care, support with nutrition and hydration, community access, emotional support, and following care plans and therapy programmes. You will also carry out domestic tasks, including laundry and general household duties. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow detailed care plans and risk assessments to deliver safe, consistent support at all times.
This Job Would Suit A calm, experienced, and resilient Support Worker / Night Carer with at least 2 years’ experience within a support role. You must be confident with manual handling, hoisting, and providing full personal care. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to work flexibly across days, waking nights, and occasional On-Call (sleep-in) shifts. Experience supporting clients with an Acquired Brain Injury, limited communication, and/or behaviours that challenge is highly desirable.
Why You’ll Love This Role There are currently two full-time positions available within this package, offering the chance to join a stable and supportive long-term care environment. Excellent training is provided, including paid induction and manual handling training. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop specialist complex care skills while working within a structured and supportive environment.

We will review all applications and verify the essential criteria are met before passing suitable CVs and contact details to our client/case manager, who will continue the recruitment process directly. By applying, you consent to your details being shared with our client.
