Your responsibilities as Pre-Construction Manager
Lead and develop estimating and bid teams to deliver high-quality tender submissions
Oversee the full tender process from enquiry through to submission and award
Review cost plans, pricing strategies, risk allowances and value engineering opportunities
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and key stakeholders
Support business development activities and contribute to future pipeline growth
Drive continuous improvement across pre-construction processes, systems and reporting
What we're looking for in a Pre-Construction Manager
Previous experience within pre-construction, estimating or commercial construction environments
Experience managing estimators, bid managers or bid writing teams
Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and procurement routes including JCT and Design & Build
Proven commercial awareness with the ability to assess risk, opportunity and project viability
Ability to manage multiple tender submissions and stakeholder requirements simultaneously
