This role is primarily site-based, with the option to work from home one day per week (if required). Standard working hours are 8:15am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (including a 45-minute lunch break), with flexibility available for those who prefer a slightly later start.
THE JOB
As HR Business Partner, you will support managers across the employee lifecycle by delivering an effective HR business partnering service and adding value to people plans across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Partnering with managers to develop aligned, business-focused people plans
Acting as a trusted advisor on talent, leadership, performance, and organisational design
Using people data to identify trends and drive performance and engagement improvements
Providing practical, compliant solutions to complex people challenges
Building strong relationships to support capability, decision-making, and results
Supporting and improve HR policies, processes, and ways of working
Leading talent reviews and succession planning with L&D support
Delivering a high-quality HR service as a key contact for managers and leaders
Managing employee relations casework, including investigations and advice
Driving engagement, wellbeing, and DEI initiatives locally
Supporting performance management cycles and promote consistency and calibration
Collaborating cross-site on performance, talent, and key HR projects
Coaching managers to build capability and support their development
Staying up to date with HR trends and continuously improve tools and practices
Contributing to regional and global HR projects as required
THE PERSON
Essential Skills and Experience:
CIPD Level 5 (or above)
Proven experience in an HR Business Partner role (2 years +)
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting organisational change
Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels, including senior leaders
Strategic HR mindset with the ability to represent the function internally and externally
Strong organisational skills, managing multiple priorities and projects
Solid experience managing complex ER cases and knowledge of employment law
Ability to identify risks, insights, and improvement opportunities
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
