TeacherActive is proud to be working with Ravenswood School, an all-age Special School based in North Somerset. The school supports children and young people with complex needs and SLD, many of whom have diagnoses including Autism, ADHD and Attachment Disorder, and is committed to providing a nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time permanent Class Teacher from September. The successful Class Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated learning to pupils across the school, supporting both academic progress and personal development whilst working collaboratively with a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.
The successful Class Teacher will have:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND needs
• Knowledge and understanding of Autism, ADHD, SLD and Attachment Disorder
• Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A resilient, adaptable and nurturing approach to teaching
