Stores Supervisor
Gurney Reeve & Co Ltd, Suton, Wymondham, have a vacancy within our Stores/Parts department.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts supervisor to join our busy and expanding parts department.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced agricultural, horticultural, construction and manufacturing environment, supporting a trade counter, phone calls, stock management, and goods inwards.
Key responsibilities
* Supervising the daily operation of the parts department
* Serving customers and manufacturing staff at the trade counter
* Managing goods in-wards, checking deliveries, booking stock, packing, and arranging shipment of parts and machines.
* Liaising with parts manager regarding orders, returns, and shortages
* Ensuring clean, safe, and efficient stores environment
* Supporting the team to deliver excellent service
Requirements
* Previous experience in a parts department or supervisory role
* Agricultural or Construction or Horticultural machinery background preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Good IT and stock knowledge
* Ability to work independently and part of a team
* Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
