How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Behaviour Mentor

    * Location: Birmingham
    * Pay Rate: £110 - £120 per day
    * Start Date: September Start
    * Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
    * Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
    * Contract: Long-Term with Potential Permanent Opportunity

    Long Term Futures are recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school from September. This role will focus on supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with children who require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.

    The successful candidate will become part of a strong pastoral and SEN team, providing both 1:1 mentoring and small group interventions for pupils with SEMH needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who can build positive relationships, act as a role model and help pupils develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

    The Role

    Provide targeted 1:1 support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
    Deliver small group interventions focusing on emotional wellbeing, social skills and self-regulation
    Support pupils in managing their emotions and behaviours positively
    Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and improve classroom engagement
    Use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to support behaviour
    Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO and pastoral staff to implement support plansThe Ideal Candidate

    Previous experience supporting SEMH or behavioural needs within a primary school setting
    Level 3 Qualification or equivalent
    Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation techniques
    Experience delivering 1:1 mentoring or intervention programmes
