Sanza is working with an excellent mainstream primary school seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) from September.
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a well-resourced and highly supportive setting.
The role:
Plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences tailored to the needs of pupils with ASD
Lead a small ARP class of up to 10 children, ensuring every pupil receives the support and challenge they need to thrive
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting provision and interventions to meet individual learning goals
Create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence, communication, and social development
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and the wider school team to provide consistent support for pupils
Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all children, following school policies and statutory guidance at all times

What you'll need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly ASD
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs
A proactive, patient, and professional approach to teaching and learning
