How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

What if you could join a practice where design quality, sustainability, innovation, and people are valued equally?

✔ Influence project delivery, design quality, and studio culture.

    The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for an Architect who is:

ARB registered with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.

Proficient in Revit and confident working within BIM environments.

Experienced delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages.

Comfortable leading projects and coordinating consultants and stakeholders.

Strong technically, with a solid understanding of UK Building Regulations.

Passionate about design, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Keen to mentor and support junior team members.

    Culture & Benefits

The practice has built a reputation as one of the region's most respected employers, offering a culture that genuinely invests in its people.

    Benefits include:

    🏡 Hybrid and flexible working.

🎓 Structured CPD and professional development programmes.

📈 Clear progression pathways and regular career reviews.

    💪 Health and wellbeing initiatives.

🏋 Access to on-site fitness facilities.

🌍 Opportunities to contribute to sustainability and research initiatives.

🎉 Regular social events and team activities.

    🤝 Collaborative, supportive studio environment.

    Why Consider a Conversation?

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, values good design, and wants to be part of a practice where people, innovation, and sustainability sit at the heart of everything they do.
