Are you an experienced Home Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a small, specialist service where you can make a genuine difference to people's lives?
We are recruiting for a Home Manager to oversee a well-established small residential service in Bury, providing 24-hour care and support to working-age adults with mental health needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed care professional who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred support while leading and developing a motivated staff team.
About the Role
As Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational performance are maintained.
You will lead by example, creating a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff, whilst promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for those in your care.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the home
Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
Leading, motivating, and developing the staff team
Managing staffing levels, rotas, and recruitment
Maintaining high standards of care and support delivery
Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Managing budgets and ensuring the service operates efficiently
Participating in the on-call rota on alternate weekendsAbout You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Home Manager within a residential care setting
Ideally have experience supporting adults with mental health needs
A strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or a willingness to work towards achieving the qualification
