How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Disability Assessor

    We are seeking Registered Nurses (Adult), Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists and Paramedics to join our team as Functional Assessors.

    Salary: £40,000 (+1k at 6/12 months - Performance based)

    Location: AYLESBURY
    (Hybrid & Homebased opportunities available depending on location)

    Contract: Permanent – Mon to Fri. FT and PT hours available.  

    What You’ll Do: 

    Support individuals applying for Personal Independence Payments (PIP) on behalf of the DWP.
    Assessments: Evaluate how a variety of health conditions impact individuals’ daily lives during phone and face-to-face assessments.
    Reports: prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports using your clinical expertise.
    Support: Treat every individual with empathy, respect, and professionalism throughout their assessment journey.
    Location: 2 days out of 5 per week at the assessment centre What We’re Looking For:

    Full registration with the NMC (Registered Nurse) or HCPC (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic).
    Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in healthcare.
    Strong communication skills with an ability to assess & report findings effectively.
    IT proficiency & ability to work independently.
