Provide Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the DN7 area of Doncaster.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Year 5, helping them to access learning, engage in classroom activities, and achieve their full potential.
The RoleAs a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support a Year 5 pupil with SEND throughout the school day
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
Build a strong and supportive relationship with the pupilThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children with SEND, either in schools or other settings
Is patient, caring, and resilient
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Can commit to a full-time role until the summer holidays
Holds relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent experience (desirable)About the SchoolThe school is a friendly and supportive primary school in the DN7 area with a strong focus on inclusion and pupil wellbeing. The leadership team would like prospective candidates to visit the school, meet staff, and have a tour of the setting before starting, ensuring the role is the right fit for everyone involved.
