My client are a large regional main build contractor that is well established in the market place. Due to an increase in recent contracts, they are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor they are looking for will have proven experienced working for a main contractor. My client delivers a good mix and variety of projects from 5million up to around 80million. With residential, care homes, industrial projects. The have several requirements across the business working in and around the Manchester area.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you have a good construction knowledge, grounding and experience in working on design and build projects.
Duties will include:
• Monthly Valuations
• Preparing Bills of Quantities
• Carrying out Take Offs
• Monitor material and labour costs
• Communicate with project staff and sub-contractors regularly to ensure all commercial procedures in place
Individual Requirements:
• Qualified to Degree level in relevant area desirable.
You will ideally have site experience working for a main building contractor. With Quantity Surveying experience working on new build projects. The successful candidate will be proactive and work to their own initiative, working as part of a large team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to develop within a well-established high calibre contractor.
