Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Mobile Plumber / Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established facilities maintenance team covering a portfolio of commercial sites across the West Midlands. This is a mobile role carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive repairs, fault finding, and general mechanical/plumbing maintenance across multiple buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and reactive repairs across multiple sites
Diagnose faults and complete effective troubleshooting and repairs
Maintain and repair plumbing and mechanical systems including pipework, drainage, water systems, pumps, tanks, and associated equipment
Install, modify, and repair pipework systems including cutting, fitting, soldering, and brazing
Conduct leak detection, system testing, calibration, and backflow prevention works
Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to complete works accurately
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures
Complete all service reports, maintenance records, and documentation accurately and on time
Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams
Participate in a 1 in 8 call-out rota Requirements
NVQ or City & Guilds in Plumbing & Heating / Mechanical Systems (essential)
Ideally G3 Unvented qualification (or willingness to complete)
Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Comfortable working across multiple sites independently Package & Benefits

£125 standby allowance (1 in 8 call-out rota)
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
