In this role, you’ll be working on mechanical equipment, supporting repair, refurbishment and installation work across the workshop and site-based projects.

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?
* Using hand tools to carry out mechanical fitting work
* Stripping and reassembling flanges, linkages and water authority equipment
* Working on hydraulic presses
* Carrying out pre-installation checks
* Speaking with project engineers
* Supporting bench work when required
* Handling mainly heavy mechanical equipment
* Using overhead cranes when needed
* Working with your own hand tools
What will you need?
* Previous fitting experience
* Your own hand tools
* Mechanical experience
* Confidence working with heavy mechanical equipment
* Ability to communicate with project engineers and other team members

£15.00 - £18.00 per hour
