Key Responsibilities:
Support the Vigilant lead Human Factors Integration (HFI) specialist in conducting human factors activities and embedding Human Factors into the TRINITY design.
Engage with user groups and Human Factors stakeholders in workshops, trials, and User-Centred Design activities.
Assess prototypes and mock-ups of TRINITY hardware and software solutions.
Conduct detailed analyses such as task analysis, human error analysis, usability, and workload assessments.
Support Integration Testing and verification activities.
Produce reports and contribute to customer deliverables.
Job Requirements:
A recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or Engineering with specific Human Factors experience.
Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or eligibility for CIEHF Chartership via an equivalent body).
Significant experience applying Human Factors methods in Defence or a safety-critical industry.
Experience applying Def Stan 00-251 and working within multi-disciplinary teams on complex system integration and development projects.
Additional Information:
This is a 12-month contract role, requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site at Christchurch.
Security Clearance (SC) is required.
