How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Fire Safety Manager

    Westfield London

At Westfield London, safety is more than compliance — it's fundamental to creating exceptional experiences for millions of visitors every year. We are looking for an experienced, influential and forward-thinking Fire Safety Manager to play a critical leadership role within one of Europe's most iconic retail and leisure destinations.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of fire safety strategy and operational resilience within a fast-paced, high-profile environment where no two days are the same. Working alongside senior leadership, facilities teams and operational partners, you will drive a proactive fire prevention culture, ensure legislative excellence and help protect one of the UK's most dynamic public spaces.

If you thrive in a complex operational environment, enjoy leading from the front and want to make a visible impact every day, this role offers challenge, autonomy and genuine career prestige.

Why Join Mitie / Westfield London?

This is more than a compliance role — it's an opportunity to shape the safety culture within one of the busiest and most recognisable retail destinations in the UK.

You'll join a collaborative and ambitious team environment where your expertise will be highly visible, genuinely valued and directly impactful. From major operational projects to day-to-day centre resilience, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping people safe while supporting an exceptional visitor experience.

If you're ready for a career-defining role in a world-class environment, we'd love to hear from you.

    * Provide operational Risk Management cover during periods of leave or business need.

    * Maintain high visibility across the centre, ensuring fire safety standards are consistently upheld in a live operational environment.
